OBJECTIVES:

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

>> Describe procedures for assessing incontinent nursing home residents.
>> Identify and implement strategies for managing incontinence.
>> Identify and implement staffing strategies for implementing prompted voiding.
>> Describe federal survey guidelines for incontinence care.
>> Continuously monitor and evaluate a toileting assistance program for incontinent residents.
