Master of Environmental Science
at Miami University
The Master of Environmental Science (M.En.) degree program, administered by the Institute for the Environment and Sustainability (IES), is designed to prepare you, upon graduation, for immediate employment as an environmental professional.
The M.En. program has over 675 graduates, virtually all pursuing environmental science and sustainability careers in consulting, industry, government, education, and non-profit organizations.
Our program emphasizes:

- effective communication
- quantitative analysis
The standard M.En. program can be completed in less than 2 years, and financial aid is available on a competitive basis.
The combined M.En. program allows students to complete an M.En. degree with 1 year of additional study beyond the bachelor's degree, and is available to qualified, tuition-paying students with an undergraduate co-major in environmental science or sustainability at Miami University.
