The Carrion Beetle Study
Welcome! "The Carrion Beetle Study" is a project that my Biology 1 CP classes will be involved with for the next few years. This study focuses on the affect of habitat fragmentation on biological diversity. More specifically, we are looking into how habitat fragmentation affects the overall species richness and evenness of carrion beetle communities in woodland environments surrounding New Philadelphia, Ohio.
Check back August 27, 2003 for more information on biodiversity, carrion beetle ecology and what my students are up to.
