Teacher - I feel that my role of teacher is important to society, my students and myself.

Research - My interest is in the mechanisms that allow cold-hardy palms to survive in areas like Oxford Ohio. A secondary goal is to apply these principles to development of cold hardy palms.

Servant - I try to be of service to all that I meet. I hope that I can be or service to others.
