Single Crystal X-Ray Diffraction

Rigaku XtaLAB Synergy-S X-ray diffractometer for single crystal X-ray diffraction.

With a PhotonJet-S series of microfocus Mo X-ray source, a four-circle kappa goniometer, and a HyPix-6000HE
hybrid photon counting X-ray detector

 

Powder X-Ray Diffraction

Rigaku MiniFlex PXRD with a HyPix-400 MF 2D hybrid pixel array detector (HPAD),

Cu K-alpha X-ray source, and an 8-position automatic sample changer.

 

Electron Probe Microanalysis

JEOL JXA-iHP200F
Field Emission Electron Probe Microanalyzer (FE-EPMA)

With 5 WDS detectors, and energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS), and cathodoluminescence (CL) detector.

 

Raman Microscopy

Horiba LabRAM HR Evolution confocal Raman microscope.

 

Optical Microscopy

Various optical microscopes including research petrographic microscopes, with reflected light differential interference contrast microscopy (DIC),

and a Leica Ivesta 3 Greenough stereo microscope with reflected and transmitted light (including polarizer and analyzer).
