Super Brief Instructions for MUDES Operation
  
  1. Insert MUDES CD in the CD Drive
  
  2. Turn on the computer
  
  3. Click on the Tree icon to enter the program
  
  IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER
  
  1.  The notebooks are expensive, please treat them with care
  
  2.  You must charge the batteries before going into the field
  
     To do this you must follow the procedure below to avoid damaging the  notebook:
  
     1. Make sure all cords are plugged into the transformer
     2. Plug the power cord into the computer
     3. Plug the transformer into a grounded duplex (wall socket)
  
     After about 3 hrs the batteries should be fully charged.
  
     You must follow the procedure below to avoid damaging the notebook
     during disconnection from the transformer:
  
     1. Unplug the transformer from the duplex (wall socket)
     2.  After the light on the transformer has gone out, Unplug the power                cord from the computer to the transformer
