                 BMZ Homework Assignment - RDM#1 
 
This exercise, if successfully completed is worth 5 pts. 
This assignment is due by February 26, 1996. 
 
The assignment is to help me build a more useful world wide web 
(WWW) page for this course by locating interesting universal 
resource locations (URL's) that are pertinent to the subject matter 
that is discussed. 
 
If you know nothing about the availability of computers on campus 
that can access the World Wide Web, contact Miami Computing & 
Information Services (MCIS) who can direct you to specific computer 
facitlity locations.  MCIS also offers short courses on how to get 
around, or "surf", the "Web". 
 
The exercise is as follows: 
 
1.  Begin by logging onto the WWW. 
 
2.  Visit my home page at URL = http://www.Muohio.edu/~meicenrd 
 
3.  Go to the BMZ 116 section of my homepage 
 
4.  Use the hotlink to Web Search Engines provided to locate an    
    interesting URL pertaining to ONE of the following subjects: 
 
     A. Cellular Metabolism 
 
     B. Photosynthesis 
 
     C. Cellular Respiration 
 
5.  Once you have located an interesting URL send me the following  
    information via e-mail at MeicenRD@Muohio.edu: 
 
     A.  Your Name 
 
     B.  Your Social Security Number 
 
     C.  The category (4A, 4B, or 4C) to which your URL pertains. 
 
     D.  The complete URL citation for the site that you found for  
         #4, above. 
 
     E.  A brief description (1 or 2 sentences) of why you think   
         this site would be of interest to students in this course. 

