Keep an eye out for unusual leaf morphological
features, such as:
Examine the morphology of the leaf or leaflet
from apex to base:
Leaf or Leaflet Margin
As you're doing this be alert to the following:
Upper Surface of the Leaf or Leaflet
Lower Surface of the Leaf or Leaflet
Leaf or Leaflet Shape (a dubious character,
considering apex, margin, and base?)
