  2. Setting the accelerating voltage potential energy equal to the kinetic energy of the electron, solve for the wavelength in Eq. 1 of the e-diffraction experiment.

  3. If you were designing an X-ray source or electron source for a diffraction experiment, what characteristics would you need the source to display in order to get the information you need to infer the structure of the samples?
