Creating Wet Slides

1. Squeeze the dropper prior to inserting it in the microcosm. Place the tip of the dropper near an organism and draw it into the dropper.

2. Allow the organism(s) to settle to the tip of the dropper, then place three drops on a slide as shown.
3. View each droplet under a microscope.

4. Use a cover slip if you find an organism that moves too fast to view.

5. Dip the slide into the microcosm to return all life to the system when finished.
