Overview
MUCN is taking a new approach to do more effective and efficient fundamental and development research. MUCN research programs are focused around projects and on building alliances to deliver data quickly for timely research and development decisions.

MUCN is set-up to:
  • Train flexible nanotechnology professionals well grounded in a base discipline, such as chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, geology, physics and biology.

  • Align interdisciplinary research and development resources by specific projects, in conjunction with discipline-directed research.

  • Build and bring to bear expertise through alliances among Universities, Government Laboratories, and Industry.

  • Provide an interdisciplinary expertise base to provide research critical mass.

  • Provide nanotechnology education to K-20 students and the general population.

  • Build and bring to bear expertise through alliances among Universities, Government Laboratories, and Industry.
