1. What is your grading scale? I use the board adopted grading scale. 2. Is the grading scale posted at your web site? Yes 3. Do you round grades? That depends, do you think 5'7" is 6' tall? Seriously
though, rounding grades in my classes depends on your
effort, quality of work, and attitude, all of which are
related. 4. Final grades consist of what components? Quizzes, lab reports, quarterly reports, tests 5. Will there be extra credit? Extra credit will be given only if lab reports, and
quarterly reports have been completed and they were done in
a superior fashion. A and B students are
eligible for extra credit as well as C, D and
F students. 6. Can I make up missed work? Only if your absence was excused. 7. How much time do I have to complete missed work? Missed work should be completed the day after you
return. 8. How long are your detentions? 60 minutes after school. Wear old clothes. 9. Why? There is always glassware, etc. to be cleaned.
