Internships
Many ITS students obtain internships in order to receive supervised work experience with government agencies, public service organizations, and appropriate commercial and financial institutions. For the ITS student who wants to receive academic credit for an internship, there are important prerequisites:
- at least a sophomore standing in ITS
- permission of an ITS instructor and the ITS director
- registration for ITS 340 before actually undertaking the internship

Career Opportunities
The BA degree with a major in International Studies appeals to students with academic interests and career plans that intersect with peoples and places beyond the borders of the United States. The ITS major provides the ideal foundation for professions in:
