Schedule an Event
In order to maximize audiences, the Center is working hard to avoid overlapping events. Please consult the planning calendar [PDF] to avoid scheduling your event to occur during another Humanities event, and please try to avoid crowding a major event into a day or a week with other major events. To have your event included on the Humanities calendar, please complete the event information form [Word] and e-mail or campus mail it to:

When titling your event, please bear in mind that long titles are often truncated in various calendar views. Try to place a unique and attractive element of the event at the beginning of the title. Avoid beginning with generic descriptors such as "Lecture: ..." Details about the presenter or content of the event should in the description box.
To help bring attention to your event, be sure to also attached a head shot of the guest lecturer or an image that will visually depict the lecture topic for someone viewing the listed event.
