What I do in Honors:

I am the staff support of the office, taking care of our budget and grant funding, event planning, receptionist support, and student worker management. I enjoy the opportunity to learn various areas within the program as our office is structured as a ‘Flat Organization’ or ‘Team Based’ approach.

Honors Staff: Pam Engel

My name is Pam Engel and I am the Administrative Associate in the University Honors Program. I am married and have three kids. In August, 2012, I expect to graduate with my Bachelors of Integrated Studies, and plan to pursue my Masters of Sports Studies.

MY BEST ADVICE:
The Honors Program is flexible and can help you achieve any of the degree programs at Miami. Don’t let your past high school days of structured curriculum stress you out.

The Honors Program is here to help you become a well-rounded person and will give you the skills to excel in any workplace.
