Honors Staff: Lauren Bosselait
|
Hello! My name is Lauren Bosselait, and I am one of the Assistant Directors in the University Honors Program at Miami University. I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Go Steelers! I attended James Madison University and majored in Public Administration and Criminal Justice. I have a Master of Education from the University of South Carolina (10’). I have experience on college campuses in career development, residential learning initiatives, academic success coaching, and teaching. Outside of work, I spend time with family, friends, my dog Harriett, and exercising. I also enjoy cooking and baking.
MY BEST ADVICE:
Stay curious and engaged! There are various curricular and co-curricular opportunities at Miami to become involved. Try something new: join an organization, attend a lecture, or enroll in a course because it seems interesting to you. Don’t let the fear of failure hold you back from accomplishing your goals. College is a learning experience and there are a plethora of resources around campus to help you be successful.
BY THE TIME YOU GRADUATE:
I want you to understand who you are and what excites you about the world. Challenging yourself to step outside your comfort zone will allow you to flourish after you graduate from Miami. Exploring what you are passionate about (and what you aren’t) will help you make educated decisions about your future. |
