Honors Residence Halls

The staff and students in the honors residence halls create an atmosphere that will help you to balance your social and academic life while also giving you the chance to participate in fun hall activities, make great friends, and find instant study partners.

As an Honors student in your first and second year, you will have the option of living in the honors residence halls. This is a great choice if you are looking for an environment where students are serious about academics, but also excited about taking advantage of all Miami has to offer.

Located in Tappan and Emerson Halls for 2012-13, this community is designed to help you make a smooth transition into college; navigate the campus environment; identify your personal and academic goals; and begin taking advantage of opportunities that will lead you toward achieving those goals.
