Combined Bachelors and Masters Programs
|
High achieving students interested in pursuing advanced study should consider applying for one of Miami's many combined bachelors/masters (BA/MA) programs. These programs allow students to receive both degrees simultaneously, which can decrease their time to graduation and increase their competitiveness for jobs, professional schools and highly-selective graduate programs.
Miami students are eligible to apply after completing 64 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25. Although all Miami students are eligible, honors students are particularly well-suited for these programs. Honors students have cultivated their communication skills, their critical thinking capacity, and their ability to problem-solve—major ingredients of every successful graduate experience. We encourage any honors student with an interest in one of these areas to consider taking advantage of this significant opportunity. Honors advisors are ready to guide students through the process.
The following departments currently offer BA/MA programs. For more information, contact the department or your honors advisor.
