"Without this important resource on campus, I am convinced that our class would not have gained the full benefits of our geology lab due to the fact that we would not have been to look such a wide range of great specimens."

The main purpose of this web site is to give you, as a Miami University student, an idea of what you can find here at the Limper Geology Museum and how you can use these resources to clarify and enhance what you have learned in the classroom. Students in Architecture, Botany, Education, English, Environmental Science, Geology, History, and Zoology continue to use the museum each semester to broaden their learning experience here at Miami.

Where?

Room 8, Shideler Hall. (The lobby of Shideler Hall contains a huge globe.) Just cross Spring Street from the Shriver Center and enter Shideler Hall. Take the stairs adjacent to the globe down to the basement floor, and turn right. The Museum is at the end of the hallway. You can find a map of the Museum's exhibits here.

When?

The Museum is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm.
