Welcome to the website of Miami University's College of Arts and Science Information Technology group, or CASIT. We are a team of information technology professionals who assist faculty, staff, and students in the College of Arts and Science and its supported entitities.
CASIT provides direction and focus to educational instruction and assists in the planning and recommendation of current and future technologies. We support, test, and implement information technology on university-owned computers and encourage the use of information technology for teaching and research.
IT Help Answers Online is an online resource for help with technology and services at Miami. The IT Services website also provides useful technology support information.
How to Contact Us
Please call the IT Services Support Desk at 529-7900 for all computer support requests. Advantages to contacting the support desk directly include:
- You talk to a real person who may be able to resolve your problem. About 40% issues are resolved without additional technology support representative (TSR) involvement.
- Your problem is less likely to "fall through the cracks" because it is recorded in the tracking system.
- You do not need to remember who your TSR is.
- If your TSR is unavailable, other CASIT members can tackle the issue.
