Advising Sessions
Once you have confirmed your acceptance to Miami University, we will provide advising sessions to help you understand university requirements and register for classes.

Orientation
Our transfer student orientation program introduces you to the resources and opportunities on the Oxford campus — a great way to quickly make yourself at home. You'll be able to meet students and staff, as well as learn about out-of-classroom opportunities for students.

Transferring Credit
Transfer Credit Evaluations (Office of the Registrar) evaluates all of your transfer credits. After this evaluation, these credits will appear on your DARS (degree audit reporting system).

Graduation Requirements
All Miami students complete the Miami Plan for Liberal Education, which consists of foundation courses, a thematic sequence and a senior capstone.
All majors in the College of Arts and Science also complete the College Requirement (Miami General Bulletin).
